Bon Accord Bobbins is a small craft group who share expertise and experience in the craft of lace making and teach newcomers to the craft.
It is run by a committee of volunteers.
When you join the group we will ask you to provide us with some personal information
- – name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and next of kin details.
We need this information
- to communicate with you about the activities of the group including courses and activities outwith the group, reminders about membership renewal.
- to alert a family member in the event of accident or illness.
We may distribute your details to other lace making groups to alert you to other opportunities for learning/practising your craft.
We will share your details within the group so that members can contact each other, unless you ask us not to.
Your personal details are held in electronic form by three members of the committee – the chairman, secretary and treasurer so that your membership can be processed and maintained.
We will keep your details for the duration of your membership and for 3 years afterwards unless you tell us to remove it.
